  21. System 7.1 is suggested by the author of this file.
  22. Snds-for-Fonts-folder-1.0 is a sound suitcase with 21 cool sounds that has been modified to happily reside in a System 7.1 Fonts folder.  Installing sounds in the Fonts folder will prevent loss of sounds when (not if) your system is corrupted, and will reduce the risk of system corruption if you frequently move sounds into or out of your system at present.  If you use Ric Ettore's Sound Manager package you may have a Snd suitcase in your System folder.  Snds-for-Fonts-folder-1.0 can replace your Snd suitcase and make these sounds available to SndControl and to your alarm software or any other extension, application, or DA that access sounds.  With an appropriate extension startup manager you can choose to load or skip Snds-for-Fonts-folder-1.0, thus saving RAM in tight situations. Snds-for-Fonts-folder-1.0 is DaveWare and requires sending the author an email message if you use it, at the address: lohrentz@macc.wisc.edu
